This is a perfect 5-minute after trick-or-treating dessert (fill them up with pumpkin-y goodness before they start working on the goody-bag stuff!) or festive, energy-boosting breakfast the day after. Frozen bananas add subtle sweetness and a frothy chill. Serve with some French toast or whole grain freezer waffles.

4 small bananas, sliced and frozen
1 15-oz. can pumpkin (plain pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling)
1 c. plain nonfat yogurt
1 c. low-fat milk or almond milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Sprinkle ground nutmeg
1. Combine bananas, pumpkin, yogurt, milk, and cinnamon in blender.
2. Process until smooth. Divide evenly between 4 glasses. Sprinkle tops of each smoothie with ground nutmeg. Enjoy!
8 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS Substitute whole milk yogurt OR just stir some whole milk yogurt into baby’s serving.
