The past week has been a whirlwind here, to say the least! I’ve been tirelessly working to publish the mini e-book I’ve promised (“Eat to Beat Stress: 10 Super Foods to Prevent Major Symptoms of Stress”). I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to be able to share this with you! My goal had been to announce its release last Friday, Dec. 21st, and still today I’m unable to do so. I’m frustrated and disappointed, not only because I feel like I’ve hit a wall with figuring out how to fix whatever is causing the conversion problems that leave the e-book with a nonfunctional Table of Contents (the only thing preventing the release and what I’ve been working on for the past 4 days!), but also because I’ve let you all down by not having it ready. I had set my deadline for last week with the intent that you would be able to utilize this resource during the last few days before Christmas, having some extra support during this busy and stressful time. I find it quite ironic that publishing a book about tips for coping with stress has literally been about to drive me bonkers for the past few days! I actually took my own advice and very deliberately incorporated the foods in this book into my daily meals and snacks, and the combination of that and maintaining my exercise schedule I think really kept me from ripping my hair out by the fistfuls during this time!
With that, I express my most sincere apologies that I’ve not been able to give you this gift in time for Christmas, as was my intention. I am not giving up, and I WILL have this book published and will be shouting it from the rooftops once I’m able! My plan is to take a break, relax with my husband and children for the rest of today, fully enjoy my family on Christmas tomorrow, and then get back to work first thing Wednesday morning so I can get past this obstacle and get this book out to you! I hope this finds you enjoying your family, friends, and the season. Merry Christmas! ~ Leah
