#2: Tart Dried Cherries
Find these in the bulk foods section at your local health food store or market, or at your standard grocery store in the dried fruits section. I’ve also found these in large bags for a great price at Costco and on Amazon.

Reduce risk of developing cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, macular degeneration, osteoporosis, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Promote restful sleep (due to high levels of the antioxidant melatonin), so you wake up feeling refreshed!
*Chop and serve on top of whole grain cereal or mixed into granola (get a great recipe in my book Eat to Beat Stress!).
*Add to pancakes or waffles
*Serve on top of frozen yogurt
*Dice and add to your favorite oatmeal cookie recipe
*Use it to make trail mix with mixed nuts and optional dark chocolate chips (not for children younger than 2, and supervise children closely from ages 2-5 years when serving nuts because of choking hazard).
*Stir into plain nonfat yogurt (whole milk yogurt for babies 8 months to 2 years old)
